How to enable sound in Ubuntu 12.04
In this article we will enable sound for root user in Ubuntu.
Sound service does not start when you logged in from root user.
We need to add sound service in startup application so it starts automatically while you logged in from root.
Sound will mute while you logged in from root.
To enable sound click on dash home button
Search for startup application. Click on Startup application icon
Click on add button
Fill the following
click on close
reboot the system
logged in again from root account and check sound.
We have enabled sound service for root account.
